RT 2010-2019 - Rear Trunk Holder

Someone needs to come up with a solution to the cylinder that often fails at its job. Sometimes because it's got a few years of wear and/or because we over worked it. If you own a luggage rack you know what i'm talking about. With the heavy load of the luggage, you always need to hold it up when using the rear trunk, it will fall on you otherwise. If you have an older Spyder model, chances are that the cylinder is shot tired.

This will be a very economical solution for you and I bet for your friends, we all know someone with this issue. Made from stainless steel so it won't rust. Installation will take you just minutes.

    This simple but effective item qualifies Pierre for a "Better Mouse Trap" award. I's easy to install, is sturdy, and works as advertised . My single modification was to add a small rubber foot to each end of end of the prop rod to reduce unintended slippage.

    Top quality product, solved the failing gas shock issue. easy five stars given,BUT the rod holder falls short.Had to make one that worked

    It took a little while to get here but it is just what the doctor ordered. No more truck lid slamming down on my arms and fingers. Installation was very easy (10 minutees tops). There were no installation instruction with the product, but you really don't need any. There is a video on the website that shows exactly how to install it. I would highly recommend this product.

    Easily installed even with the lid falling down...once installed the issue is over permanently
