Exactly as described no complaints
I ride long distances on a frequent basis and have always depended upon a lower back backrest. So when I purchased my new Spyder this was my first "afternmarket" purchase and it is wonderful! Best support I've had in 25 years of riding. Thank you.
Easy to install. A very comfortable backrest.
Easy to install, nice fit & comfortable.
Installation was fairly easy. It is very comfortable for the driver, and I look forward to testing it with a passenger. I suspect it may have to be removed for some passengers as it is pretty tight. But removal and storage with luggage is very easy.
My review might change by trying different height adjustments. I've started with it at my lower back, but it severely digs into the passenger seat, where I've inserted a leather patch to decrease wear. At my age, a backrest required. The Spyder is going to Washington, D.C. and back, for Memorial Day Weekend, so comfort is critical.
I'm not thrilled with this, especially for what it costs. The issue I have with it is the location relative to my back. And, yes, I've adjusted it as much as possible but it still is not all that comfortable. It also makes removing the rear seat difficult but still possible.
Easy install and functions great .
We bought the back rest to help with my hubbies lower back issues. I would say with single rider and no passenger that the backrest is good although not 100% relied on the back. For two-up we can still use it although it’s a bit more difficult depending on size of passenger. The fact that it lays down when not in use is good and makes it easy for a passenger to get on the bike but you need to remember as a rider that it is there and to put it in an upright position before sitting down.
