Stainless Steel Bolt with 1" RAM Mount Ball (All years - models except with Tri-Axis handlebars)

This stainless steel bolt is to replace one of the 4 bolts that holds down the steering column. It’s made in one whole piece of stainless steel at a local CNC shop that specializes in custom one of a kind item. We started with an octogone stainless steel bar that's about 8 feet long, we then cut pieces and machined them to leave you with the 100 mm outer thread to screw in the bolt, the octogone 5/8 inch part the have grip and on top the 10 mm inside thread  so you can than attach a 10 millimetre 1.25 thread Ram mount ball to attach all your favourite accessories. From an X-Grip for cell phones and GPS or a wide range of drink holders, many available on this web site.

    I did a lot of research to find some way to mount my cell phone using my existing Techmount cell phone holder onto my new CanAm Spyder RT Ltd. I found it by using this bolt with the ball. Unfortunately, I was not aware that it wouldn't work in the adjustable handlebars I purchased later. I never even gave it a thought. I was able to sell the bolt the same day I advertised it.

    While these bolts are expensive, they worked really well as a base for mounting my GPS and wireless phone charger (I bought two bolts). Fit and finish was very good and Pierre is great at customer service.

    I received the stainless steel bolt and Ram Mount ball as a Christmas gift from my wife and have already installed it on my RT. I could not be happier with her purchase. A solid product you can not go wrong purchasing if you are planning on mounting it on one of the two top bolt holes if you already have a GPS attached.     Liked it so much I bought another one.. Now I can have my GPS and my phone in view.. With careful arrangement and the right RAM arms I was able to mount both without blocking the instrument panel.. the key was out of sight but that's not a concern for me..If I remove the farkles I can leave the bolts in place and they don't look ugly..I hate those handlebar U clamps that RAM sells..Until someone comes out with a mount that attaches to the switch housings, this is as good as it gets..Are you listening Pierre?
